Almost every year a buddy of mine or several and I team up and tackle a hard hike, usually somewhere up in the Sierras. This year we had talked about it for a while and finally came to the conclusion that we would try the Rae Lakes Loop. We spent some time researching the hike, getting the supplies we would need and arranging our schedules for a week up in the Sierras. The hike did not disappoint. It was a long, exhausting hike at times, but the scenery was world clase and I would love to head back up there one of these days just for some time on the trail for photography,…one of these days. So read on and check out the trail description and see if its something that you would like to challenge yourself with as well.
Nice Article
Thanks : )
Thanks for the memories. I did the loopback in 1989 as an 11-year-old with my family. Thinking about it still provides some of my favorite memories.
